First Day = Snow Day

Look, ma, no school. The supermarket and Krispy Kremes store I go to were live on the news last night at the same time after the Golden Globes on NBC. Something about different locations collecting snowfall. I don't know... I was just thinking about groceries and lemon-filleds. And now I can't go out to get either.

I've been downloading and listening to a bunch of those Howard Dean remixes. Catchy. I still don't know who I'll vote for in the primary. By time it gets to New Jersey, there should be a clear frontrunner anyway. After the media's "coverage" of the Iowa caucus, I'm sort of turned off to the whole process though. I don't know how people can put so much weight on excited speeches and shifty poll numbers or if candidates are wearing sweaters.

I do like sweaters though. They're warm and it's been really cold outside.

Adam might come home for the Super Bowl, and if he does, I will too. If not, I'll see him in March in London over spring break. Yes, I said London. Yes, that makes me cooler than you.

I've been cheating on somepoems and working on this page, but I've also been working on a brand new layout for my home turf. It should be fun when it's done!

Dave's LJ

"Yes! We can testify in poetry!"
-Malcolm in the Middle

So, I've made a livejournal account with the express purpose of reading other people's livejournal accounts. Isn't that stupid? I sure think so. In any case, my LJ name is "sonicwav". SP.com's registry account will expire by the end of the month... maybe I should just LJ for free?? Psh... yeah right.

My friend just got a poem published in a journal. She gives us all hope. Intersession will be spent taking a 1-credit poetry class, going out for lunch, playing Tony Hawk Underground, revising poetry to submit myself (soon!), and stressing out about my life.

No matter how often I try to convince myself otherwise, I think I do really need a girlfriend. So many of my close friends now are girls, and it's been sort of a double-edged sword... good times, but it makes me want to meet someone I can get more involved with. I dunno... maybe I'll turn to prostitutes. :) Plus, I'm having some kind of horrible crisis centering on the Anthropology of Love class I took last semester (yes, you heard me) on whether or not love exists. I think I'm lonely.

The Moon and Mars are cool. Charging billions of dollars more to a budget the IMF has deep concerns about isn't. Eye on the ball, Bush, not the sky.

I went to see Little Shop of Horrors yesterday on Bway... fun. I'm going to Panera tomorrow morning with my parents and then driving back to Baltimore. Hopefully it doesn't snow too hard.
