Um...

...did someone order the authoritative Russian dictatorship with a side of new Cold War? Because I didn't.

Ok, so, sure, he's not officially a dictator yet, but Putin's about as close as you can get without being one. I really wonder how much longer it'll be. Better question: would Bush jail and disappear Kerry if he could get away with it? Damn straight he would.

Also, in Hawaii,
Kucinich: "Granted I'm behind in the pack, but so was Seabiscuit."
The difference? Oh right, Seabiscuit was a HORSE. Good job, Dennis, way to make the relevant pop culture references.

More Links

Everybody likes links, right?

Music can be a very hot thing. Music can be a very stimulating thing. Now, music can be hot and stimulating... um, yeah this is an interesting product. There are a whole lot of puns that lend itself to this... instrument. Heh.

Badger badger badger badger badger badger badger badger badger badger badger mushroom mushroom... this flash thing just keeps looping. I just minimize it and let it play all day. I'm even considering getting a badger t-shirt... but they're like $30. Funk dat. Might be interesting to hook the song up to the previous link. Not for me. But for someone that it would work for. Like a girl who likes to have sex with badgers.

And don't give me any of this "oh, I've already seen your old ass links." I'm a slow surfer, so step off, bitch. In other news, man has landed on the moon.

So, I bought this Sony 5.1 receiver/5-disc DVD player/powered subwoofer and speakers thing this weekend (don't have to pay interest for 18 months!), and it'll make it's glorious public debut this Sunday. Last Sex and the City episode party, baby!... cosmos, Krispy Kremes, people in hideous outfits with their bras showing... we'll see how this turns out.

Thought I would mention that so far I'm successfully writing two poems a week for my two workshops and not getting stressed out. I LOVE a challenge. Not really. But poems are like fun and stuff. Related story: people keep getting into graduate programs, and I'm never going to graduate... sad, really.

I saw this Tru Calling episode where she goes to her 5 year high school reunion, and it reminded me about how I'm not going to mine. What the hell am I going to say to people? Nice to see you again, see you in 5... yeah, right, I'll probably still be in college then too, you're so funny. Well screw that.

A Brand New Day-ve

Hereforth, I will use my blogging powers for good!

This is interesting.

So is this.

[/end new, socially-conscious Dave]

Yeah, well, you knew it couldn't last forever. Man, my arms hurt from lifting things yesterday. Does anyone know where the weight room is?
